PATSY!

Patsy Cline was born and raised in the small town of Winchester, Virginia.  So was Radford Wine.  His mother related stories of going to school with Patsy (then known as Virginia Hensley) and how they sang together at recess.  In 1963, as a little boy, the artist remembers attending the funeral of the singer who rose to fame in the world of country music.  Following a tragic plane accident the promising career of the famed vocalist came to a sudden end.   The legend, however, lives on.

Patsy Poster

Now this striking work is available from the studio of Radford Wine.  The poster measures 24 x 18” and is vertical in format.  Included on the work is a listing of Ms Cline’s greatest selling hits including such noted pieces as “Crazy” and “Walkin’ After Midnight.”  Beneath the text of “Winchester, Virginia” are three photographs pertinent to the crooner:  Ms Cline at Winchester’s Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival, Ms Cline at the Winchester Coca-Cola bottling plant and finally, a visual of the Winchester’s Triangle Diner where Patsy worked as a young lady.
